This short briefing was written by a client:

target-audience: noswell uG is designing and producing longboards. Our target market ranges between youth and adult sportsmen. The age group has a wide variety.
Description: the brand noswell originates from the idea of giving surfers a comparable sport on land when the swell is low or when there is "no swell".
"noswell" should point out the time when it's better to switch to skating.

The lettering of the logo can contain the full brand-name or just single letters.

It should appear rather two-dimensional, represent dynamic in a simple and plain way and should exhibit a strong value of recognition.
Additionally connections to skateboarding can be drawn, but dont have to be!

We want to give free hand to the creativity of the designers. We dont want to restrict the coloring neither (preferring less colors over more), we ware looking forward to being surprised and will give feedback after the first submitted designs.
